Master of Science in Sustainability from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, graduating with honours and nominated for the Alfonso Caso Medal. Bachelor of International Development and Social Entrepreneurship from McGill University.
Magdalena was born in Venezuela and raised in Canada, but she has had the opportunity to work in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, and France. Her international experience has allowed her to develop intercultural sensitivity and adaptability.
Recipient of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec’s Medal (Canada) for her volunteer work within the community, she firmly believes in the importance of giving back to society. Her master’s thesis focused on food security with a gender perspective, a field in which she discovered her passion for participatory research.
In her spare time, she enjoys pottery and writing fantasy novels.
